Welcome to the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education for Administrators Course!

DURING THIS COURSE YOU WILL LEARN:

  • The definition of “homeless”
  • Data related to homelessness
  • What educational rights students have when they become homeless
  • District requirements

After watching the Basics video, you will have a second video based on your role in the district. You’ll learn more specifically about what you can do to help identify homeless students and better support your homeless liaison. We have tips to support you in identifying homeless students you may encounter.
